Discover the Loopbaankit (career kit) – A soft landing, first the relationship, then the performance

It is with great enthusiasm that I announce the launch of our latest knowledge clip: the Loopbaankit (career kit)! This knowledge clip is designed to support pupils / students in their professional and personal development, with an emphasis on the importance of relationships and a soft landing in the learning environment. As a teacher / coach / mentor, you too can draw on this lovely Loopbaankit! At the very least it provides plenty of inspiration! 🙂

What is the Loopbaankit?

The Loopbaankit grew out of more than 10 years of experience and brings together many successes from practice. It offers a comprehensive toolkit for career learning, in which learning and reflecting take place with your career team: a team of pupils / students who, together with the teacher / coach / mentor, work on either the generic HBO competencies or the career orientation and guidance (LOB) competencies.

Designable elements

In the knowledge clip we show how you can design and implement the various elements of the Loopbaankit within your own educational context. Among other things, we cover the structure of learning activities, the role of a feedback culture and the principles of career learning.

Feedback culture

An essential part of the Loopbaankit is the feedback culture. This includes the three questions of Hattie and Timperley (2007): Feed up, Feedback and Feed forward. This model helps pupils / students make their learning process visible and keep taking steps in their development.

What is in the Loopbaankit?

The Loopbaankit includes, among other things:

• A teacher’s guide with career learning activities plotted over time for the first year of study / school.
• Learning activities that tie in with the generic HBO competencies and/or LOB competencies.
• A (self-designed) sequence of learning activities with tools and pointers for giving and receiving effective feedback.
