n8n training at Avans Hogeschool Breda – a success!

This week Avans Hogeschool in Breda took a big step in AI literacy and practical automation. With an enthusiastic group of colleagues, we dived into the world of n8n, AI agents and EU‑hosted environments. Without Big Tech, fully GDPR-proof and AI Act compliant.

The atmosphere was energetic: laptops open, pens at the ready, ideas flying across the table. In between the workflows there was plenty of brainstorming about participants’ own practice:

• How do we use AI to prepare lessons more smartly?
• How do we build agents that give feedback on teaching materials?
• How can we build marketing and sales flows for student entrepreneurship?

The intake beforehand had already given us a clear picture: there was a strong need to save time and become more creative with AI. Today we built the first working automations together and laid the foundation for agents that will soon communicate with each other to generate campaigns, feedback and lesson plans.

💡 What did the participants take away?

• Insight into the impact of AI on education, work and organisational culture
• A sense of urgency: why to get on board with AI now
• The frameworks of the AI Act and how to stay safe
• Practical workflows in n8n, ready for their own teams and programmes
• Inspiration to bring AI applications straight into their lessons

Every participant went home with a certificate and a head full of ideas.
