Great news to share.

EduGPT by CivAI has been nominated for the Computable Awards 2026 in the “Education Project” category.

We are proud of that! Especially because this nomination touches on something we build on every day: AI that strengthens learning, supports teachers and lecturers, and helps schools work with AI safely and responsibly.

With EduGPT we develop human-centred AI companions for learning, feedback, reflection and AI literacy. Teachers and lecturers stay in control, pupils and students are encouraged to keep thinking for themselves, and schools, institutes and knowledge institutions work within a secure European environment with attention to privacy, data sovereignty and pedagogical quality, free from Big Tech influence.

For us, this is exactly the direction in which AI in education should develop. Practically usable, pedagogically and didactically well thought out, and built on trust.
