AI in action at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam!

Today was the second Vibe Coding training session — and what a vibe! 🚀

Together with a group of enthusiastic university lecturers, we got to work building AI tools without any programming knowledge. And… just before the end, AI Bo was tested and working! 🟦💬

What is Bo?

Bo is an AI study assistant that helps students study smarter and more effectively. You upload your own study material (such as lecture slides or summaries) and Bo automatically generates personalised practice questions (MCQs, open questions or flashcards) tailored to your level. Including feedback and a progress report!

Today we:

• Secured and tested AI Bo
• Showed how to handle API keys safely
• Saw the first working web app built by a lecturer with no coding knowledge

In the next session we will finish Bo and give the other AI web apps a boost too.
