Another speaker has been announced: Pascal Mariany.
Pascal teaches at Hogeschool Utrecht and recently started OnderwijsOrakel. He developed an innovative tool that helps lecturers and students give and receive effective feedback and feedforward based on the ten LEF skills and the HBO-i professional tasks: the Feedback Companion.
Feedback Companion is an AI chatbot that offers a structured way to evaluate and improve performance using the Hattie & Timperley model (2007). The tool supports giving:
1. Feedback (Top): What went well?
2. Tip: Where is there room for improvement?
3. Feedforward (suggestion for improvement): What is the next step?
The benefits?
Clarity and consistency: By using the same criteria and language, all students understand what is expected of them and how they can improve.
